Freelance Graphic Designer (Packaging, Social Media, Branding) – Melbourne Based Preferred About Us Every Bit Organic Raw is an Australian organic food and health brand with national distribution. We’re looking for a freelance graphic designer to support our creative projects. The Role This is a freelance/contract role (self-employed – ABN preferred if Australia-based). Initially, we’d like you to work with us in-house at our Preston VIC office, with flexibility to move into remote work once we’ve established workflows. Projects may include: Packaging design and updates Social media content (static + motion graphics) Marketing collateral (flyers, brochures, POS) Brand creative for campaigns Requirements Proven design skills with a strong portfolio (packaging or FMCG experience highly regarded). Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent. Ability to interpret briefs, work to deadlines, and follow brand guidelines. Located in or near Melbourne (within commuting distance to Preston VIC). What We Offer Ongoing project-based work with a growing organic brand. Flexible freelance arrangement (workload varies by project). Opportunity for longer-term collaboration. Task Description: I’m looking for a professional and creative logo designer to help create a logo for a new business I’m in the process of setting up. The logo is very important as it will form the foundation of the brand identity and needs to work well across a variety of formats. I’d like the logo to: Be versatile (usable for digital platforms like social media, websites, and also for physical print such as T-shirts, merchandise, and large banners). Be provided in multiple file formats (high-resolution, vector files, transparent background, etc.). Potentially include variations (full version, simplified/icon version, text-only version). When responding, please let me know: Your pricing/packages for logo design. What’s included in your package (e.g., number of initial concepts, number of revisions). Your expected turnaround time. If you have a design process you follow (brief, drafts, revisions, final files, etc.). Examples of previous logos you’ve designed (a portfolio would be great). Whether the final design will be suitable for both small print (business cards, merchandise) and large-scale use (banners, signage). Design and rebuild a product booklet (using our tech specs and branding) We have a reference book whose structure we'd like replicated in a similar style, using our technical information, product images, and branding. You'll rebuild the booklet layout, think through what content goes where (no pre-made layout from us) and deliver an on-brand booklet. We're happy to support you and jump on a video call/phone call to discuss any questions you have. WHAT YOU'LL DO: -Review manuals, datasheets and product sheets (We will supply these) -Map our tech specs into a clear, logical booklet structure inspired by reference. - Design pages in our brand style (fonts, colours, icons) -Create diagrams/tables where helpful to present specs -Ensure accuracy of all tech details and model numbers -Prepare PDFs for finals with bleed and crop/ and also web versions. -Hand over editable source files (Canva or InDesign also ok) TO BE SUCCESSFUL: -Strong layout/typography skills; confident in Canva or .inDD -Experience turning technical docs into clean, readable content -Great information hierarchy and attention to detail -Ability to work independently -Portfolio showing booklets/brochures for multi-page layouts -Experience with technical documentation/electrical products is a bonus. WE"LL PROVIDE: -The reference booklet -Brand assets -Product information and logos -Any required copy clarifications TIMING & BUDGET -Start ASAP -We will need to discuss an estimate or hourly rate to complete this job. The original example booklet is approx. 80-100 pages. So there is a large amount of work here.
