Help Furnish & Set Up Our New-Build Family Home – Ottershaw We have purchased a 3-bedroom new-build home in Ottershaw, Surrey (approx. 1,100 sq ft) and are looking for someone to help us furnish and set it up ready for our family to move into. We are not looking for a show home or traditional interior design service. We do not need painting, wallpaper, feature walls, artwork or decorative renovation. Our priority is a comfortable, functional and practical family home that is ready to live in. We need help with 3 bedrooms, living room/lounge, dining area, entrance hallway, bathroom storage and wardrobes. We already have some ideas about the furniture and style we like, but both work full-time and have very limited time to manage the whole process ourselves. We are looking for someone who can ideally: Visit and accurately measure the property Plan practical furniture layouts Source appropriately sized, good-quality furniture Advise on storage solutions Help with fitted/freestanding wardrobes, including quotes where needed Source sofas, beds/mattresses, dining furniture, TV unit, bedroom furniture, curtains/blinds and bathroom storage Create a complete shopping/order list Manage ordering and coordinate deliveries Arrange assembly/installation and furniture placement Manage the process through to the house being ready for us to move into We value quality, durability, practicality, storage and value for money rather than luxury or decorative styling. Our initial furniture/furnishings budget is approximately £15,000, with some flexibility where worthwhile. Please quote your own service/project-management fee separately. The project can start now. The house is build complete and access for measurements can be arranged before completion. Please tell us about your relevant experience, what you can manage, your fees, availability and estimated timescale.

am currently progressing Party Wall matters relating to a single-storey ground floor rear extension at my flat. The adjoining owner's surveyor has requested: "An architectural cross-section/detail showing the junction between the proposed new wall/roof and the neighbouring property, including the existing guttering and proposed weathering arrangement." Existing Situation The neighbouring property comprises a rendered cream side wall running along the boundary, with pitched tiled roof above and existing fascia and guttering at the base of the roof. The height from ground level to the underside of the neighbour's fascia/gutter is approximately 2.9m. Proposed Extension The approved extension comprises: Single-storey rear extension with flat roof and rooflights. GRP fibreglass roofing system with GRP trims and flashing/weathering details. Extension wall constructed adjacent to the neighbouring wall. no alterations to the neighbour's guttering or roof structure. Design Intent My Party Wall Surveyor has advised that the proposed detail should demonstrate: The extension roof remains below the neighbour's fascia/gutter level (2.9m). A suitable GRP weathering detail/upstand is provided. Minimum 150mm weathering upstand (or as appropriate). Roof falls directed away from the boundary. Existing guttering retained and unobstructed. Adequate weatherproofing and maintenance considerations. Deliverables Requested Would you be able to prepare: Architectural cross-section through the boundary junction. Enlarged construction detail showing: Existing neighbour's wall and fascia and gutter arrangement. Proposed extension wall with GRP flat roof/ upstand and flashing/weathering details. Key dimensions and annotations suitable for Party Wall review. The drawing is intended solely to satisfy the adjoining owner's surveyor's request and support agreement of the Party Wall Award.

We are moving into a new flat and need help decorating it to make it feel more like home. I am looking for an interior designer who can help us with choosing furniture and other renter-friendly alterations. I have attached some photos. Area: Marylebone, London Budget: Negotiable Flat Details: 2 bed 2 bath The flat has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a large hall/living space. It is completely unfurnished. So far, we have purchased a bed frame and mattress and have some temporary furniture we could bring with us. Price is negotiable, I have just entered the minimum for now.
