I need a carpenter / cabinet maker to modify my kitchen setup before a cooktop installation. Current setup: cooktop above a built-in oven. Scope of work required: • Create minimum 50mm clearance between cooktop and oven (as per manufacturer manual) • Install a non-combustible heat barrier between cooktop and oven • Create ventilation opening(s) at the back or bottom of the cabinet • Adjust or lower oven support if required No electrical or gas work required. The cooktop installer (The Good Guys) will only install after this modification is completed. Please quote and advise availability. Photos attached.
