We turned off, defrosted, cleaned and emptied our fridge in preparation to get it fixed. We did this two days ago. It’s an Electrolux model EBE5307SA. The fridge is not cooling but the freezer works fine. We suspect it’s the motor because it is not making any noise.

Bought a second hand fridge but it’s not cold enough. Freezer works fine but fridge section is not very cold despite the thermostat being at the highest. It is also extremely hot around the motor - not sure if this is normal?

We have recently moved into a new property with an existing solar system and require a licensed electrician for a variety of electrical installation and upgrade tasks. Currently still sorting out internet in the property, so job can be done once internet is up. Scope of Work: 1. Solar System Inspection & Monitoring · Perform a safety and performance check of the existing solar system. · Assist in setting up a monitoring app to track energy input and output. 2. CCTV System Installation (All Equipment Supplied by Me) · Install a complete Reolink POE system: · 9x exterior POE cameras. · 1x POE video doorbell. · (I have 10x 18m Cat5e cables supplied). · Install 3x wired indoor Wi-Fi cameras (power connection required). 3. Security Sensor & Data Wiring · Install supplied 13 PIR (motion) sensors in strategic locations (ceiling or high on walls), with wiring discreetly run into the roof space. · Install 3x new Ethernet (CAT6 recommended) wall plates in: · Lounge · Bedroom 1 · Bedroom 2 4. Powerpoint & Fixture Installation · Install 3x new separate powerpoints in the garage for: · Fridge · Garage Door Opener · Freezer · Install 1x new powerpoint in a bedroom. · Replace a heat lamp bulb in one bathroom. 5. Bathroom Ventilation · Modify bathroom and ensuite exhaust fans to vent outside the roof, not into the ceiling cavity. Please provide your quote and confirm the following: · ✅ You are a Licensed Electrician. · ✅ You will provide a Certificate of Electrical Safety for all work. · ✅ You hold current Public Liability Insurance. · ✅ Please provide a breakdown of labour vs. materials (e.g., cabling, data points, conduits, bulb). · ✅ Do you offer a warranty on your workmanship? · ✅ For the data points: How will you run the Ethernet cabling to ensure a clean finish? · ✅ Can you quote from these details and photos, or is a pre-quote inspection required? Budget: I will consider all quotes based on a fair market rate for this professional work.
