I am running a Tahoe on a MacBook Pro and have an external mounted NAS drive. On the NAS there are some files that refuse to be deleted. I have tried using Mac OS get Info to change the permissions but this won't work. I have also tried using the Terminal to enter various commands to either force a permission change or to force a delete but they just won't do either. It either says that it can't find the file or that permission is denied.

We've just moved into a new office in London and have a stack of equipment that needs professionally installing and tidying up in one focused session. Looking for someone with strong handyperson skills plus comfort around tech/AV setups. What needs doing: Wall-mount a 50" LG TV and a whiteboard in the meeting area Mount cable trays, dock cradles, and power strips to the underside of 4 sit-stand desks (using supplied 3M Dual Lock — no drilling into the desks) Install vertical cable trunking up the back of each desk leg Set up monitor cabling for 8 workstations (mix of Apple Studio Displays, Single and dual-4K Dell setups), routing cables cleanly through monitor arms with proper service loops Cable-manage everything end-to-end: bundle, label, tidy — leave the office looking clean and professional Take down all the empty boxes and packaging at the end (we'll handle disposal separately if needed) What we'll have ready for you: All hardware (monitors, TV, whiteboard, Mac Mini, Sonos speakers, LED lights) All cable management supplies (trays, trunking, Dual Lock, Velcro, floor covers, cables) What we're looking for: Experience with TV/AV wall mounting (drilling into masonry/drywall, finding studs, getting things level) Comfort with cable management work — neat, methodical, patient with cable runs Familiarity with desk-mounted equipment (monitor arms, under-desk trays, dock brackets) Brings own tools (drill, spirit level, Stanley knife, screwdriver set) Reliable, punctual, leaves the space tidy Logistics: Location: King's Cross, London Estimated time: 4–6 hours for one person, or 3–4 hours for two Timing: ASAP Evening, ideally Tuesday 19 May Evening Rate: Open to negotiate your standard hourly rate; please include in your message Office photos attached but way more things have arrived, this is just the layout etc

Install a 32GB RAM kit (2×16 GB DDR4 Sodiim) into rear access panel of 2017 27 inch iMac. I want to run entire MacOS system from a 2TB external NVMe SSD . Please format the SSD as APFS. Once OS installed like to migrate my apps and user data to new external SSD. Set external SSD as default startup disk and securely mount to back of iMac.

The following points: 1. Internet - Ensure it is fully working and distributed around the property? There are some Unifi WiFi APs can factory default these and re-set them up. Do you have any preference on WiFI details? THERE SHOULD BE ONE NETWORK WITH THE PASSWORD: Welcome1 2. Printer - Setup and ensure correct working functionality with the mac on the desk 3. Connection to the TVs - an apple TV is connected to each TV, and assume all streaming etc will go via these, and JUST MAKE SURE THE APPLE TV IS CONNECTED AND THAT THERE’S A Nord VPN installed. 4. Phone system - I’m there are regular landline phones, and also office style PBX phones, is there a PBX you expect to be able to connect to, or is it just ensure they have a dial tone and can make/receive calls? IT SHOULD MAKE/RECEIVE CALLS. Audio system - I notice ceiling speakers in the bathrooms, the small toilet next to the lounge, as well as the ensuite for the primary suite. I BELIEVE THERE IS SONOS, THAT SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET Speakers in Primary suite on headboard - Not connected to anything? Do these need an amp and connection? SONOS TV in the primary ensuite (wall mounted mirror screen) - Does this want looking at? PLEASE CHECK ALL TVS 4. Clocks above the clothes store in the closet - To be changed to different time zones TIME ZONES - PST, EST, LONDON, PARIS ARE THE USUAL TIMEZONES 5. Computer setup on table - General wire tidy up? Could be helpful. 6. Nest thermostats factory default and reset these up with client details THIS SHOULD BE ACCESSED BY THE NEST APP AND THE UNIT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET.
