Sand & refinish solid timber dining table to light oak / natural oak finish (furniture restoration) Hi! I have a solid timber dining table and chairs currently in an orange / honey stain. I would like the timber professionally sanded back and refinished to a lighter, natural oak colour similar to GlobeWest “Seb Oak” style (Scandi / light oak look) / Jardan oak This is not painting — I’m specifically after furniture refinishing. Job involves: • Sanding back existing stain and clear coat to raw timber • Neutralising the orange tones • Applying a light oak / natural matte finish (hardwax oil or similar — not glossy polyurethane) • Smooth furniture-grade finish suitable for indoor dining use Table is solid wood (not veneer), so it should sand back well. I can send photos of the current table and the colour reference I’m aiming for. Flexible on whether work is done onsite (garage) or taken to a workshop. Location: East Brighton / Caulfield South
