I'm starting a small UK-made loungewear brand and need a skilled seamstress to create my first sample set: an oversized half-zip pullover (funnel neck, dropped shoulder) and matching wide-leg joggers, in a heavyweight cotton/fleece fabric — starting with one colourway (thinking taupe or cream) to test before expanding. I don't have a fabric supplier yet, so I'd love your advice on where to source a good heavyweight fleece for this kind of piece — happy to follow your recommendation if you have suppliers you already trust. I can provide reference images and rough sizing, and I'm open to your input on pattern and fit if you have loungewear experience. Looking for one sample set first, with a view to ongoing small-batch, made-to-order pieces if it's a good fit. UK-based only, please — this needs to be genuinely made here.

I'm interested in having a day dress custom-made because I struggle to find one in stores for my body build (petite with a fuller bust). My initial idea is that it would be: fit-and-flare, above-the-knee length, with an open neckline (scoop neck or a gentle V-neck), three-quarter sleeve, made of drapey fabric like viscose or silk crepe, and possibly with a button closure in the front.

Advertised price is a per hour rate. We are a small estate agency looking for reliable people to host viewings at our available flats. - We have multiple flats in Raynes Park, Hounslow, Wembley, Brentford and Bracknell. You can cover all of these locations or only some of them. - We will arrange and confirm the appointments. We aim to group multiple viewings on the same day, often for several flats in the same building, so you can show them during one visit. - We will provide the viewing schedule and key information about each flat. Our maintenance team will arrange key handover. - You will welcome prospective tenants, show them the flats and answer basic questions using the information we provide. - Interested applicants should contact our agency directly (not you) about applications and next steps. - After each viewing, you will lock the flat. At the end of the booking, you will return the keys as agreed and send us brief notes on attendance and any questions raised. When we ask you to attend, we will book and pay for a minimum of two hours, even if there are only a few viewings. Some bookings may last longer, up to a full day. The frequency will vary with demand, so we cannot guarantee regular bookings; you are free to accept or decline each one. Please tell us which locations you can cover, your availability, any property viewing or customer-facing experience, and your price for a two-hour booking. Please include travel to the first property in your quote. If a booking requires travel between locations, we will agree that cost with you in advance.

Hi, I’m looking for a handyman to put approximately 30–40 metres of battery-powered outdoor Christmas lights onto a tree in my front garden. The lights will be supplied by me. I don’t need the whole tree covered, just the main branches/trunk to give it a nice festive look. • 15 - 20 pieces of fabric • Approximately 2m x 20cm each • Lightweight voile • All four edges of each piece to be overlocked • A neat, fairly narrow finish suitable for lightweight fabric • Ideally a 3-thread overlock or rolled/narrow overlock edge rather than a bulky seam • No need to turn or hem the edges I’m happy to post the fabric anywhere in the UK and pay for return postage, so you don’t need to be local to me. Please quote for completing the whole batch rather than per garment, as these are simply flat rectangular pieces of fabric.
