I need an experienced handyman or furniture repair specialist to repair my folding dining table at my home in Ilford. The problem: I accidentally put too much weight on one side of the table, causing the central folding hinges to pull out of the wood. The fixing points are damaged, and both sides of the tabletop now drop down and cannot support themselves properly. The legs and supporting frame appear to be fine. What needs doing: I previously contacted a furniture repair specialist who reviewed the photos and explained that the repair would involve: * Plugging all six damaged screw holes to restore secure fixing points. * Gluing the damaged fibreboard back together. * Clamping the damaged wood until it is flat and secure. * Refitting the hinges and screws, replacing any damaged components if necessary. * Ensuring both sides of the folding tabletop are properly supported and the table is safe to use. Important: I need someone who can come to my home in Ilford and handle the entire repair, including any dismantling and reassembly required. I cannot transport the tabletop to a workshop. Please only make an offer if you have experience repairing damaged wooden furniture and can carry out the full job. Photos of the damage are available. Please provide a quote for the complete repair, including labour and materials.

Hi, I'm looking for someone in London to give my IKEA BILLY bookcases a darker wood finish, keeping the grain visible. They're about 10 years old, but the veneer/finish needs checking. Have you done similar veneer refinishing? Please send examples and an all-in quote for preparation, finishing and materials, including any fees or transport. Ideally the work would be done at mine, with a hidden test patch first. I have 4 in total - not sure if I want to do all, so if you can give me a per unit cost, that would be great. https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/billy-bookcase-oak-effect-60477382/#content

I'm looking for an experienced tailor or seamstress to take 17 accurate body measurements for me (I'm male), so I can use them when purchasing clothing online from different retailers. The measurements will cover my chest, stomach, waist, shoulders, arms, hips and legs, and will be used for buying suits, jackets, shirts, T-shirts, waistcoats, trousers and other clothing. **I have prepared two documents that I can provide before the appointment:** - A PDF listing all 17 measurements required, with a brief description of each. - An illustrated body measurement guide showing where each measurement should be taken. **What I need:** - All 17 measurements taken accurately using a measuring tape. - Measurements recorded in centimetres (cm). - The completed PDF measurement form provided to me as a written record to keep for future reference. I'm only looking for a professional body measurement service. **No clothing alterations, purchases or tailoring work are required.** I'm happy to pay a reasonable fee for the service. Please only respond if you're able to take all 17 measurements and provide the completed written measurement record.
