Hi, I have a Sonos Playbar around 8-10 years old and it’s developed a power issue. When I plug it in, the speakers make a pop sound, the ethernet lights flash briefly, and sometimes the mute button LED flashes red a few times – but then the unit shuts off. There is no front LED and it will not stay powered on. I have tried: – Multiple power cables (C7/figure-8) – Multiple wall outlets – No accessories connected – Attempting to boot with only power connected The behaviour is the same every time. It looks like a power supply or internal hardware failure because the unit won’t stay powered long enough to complete setup or reset.

Sonos sub won’t reboot, advised by Sonos to just buy another as out of warranty. Just flashing white and orange. Had it connected to ether net but still no joy. Don’t know what these things cost, so I’ll just put £150 in the budget, but just let me know what it could be.
