What does a home theatre installation include?
When picturing your home theatre system, does it include a projector screen and cinema seats? Having a vision for your media room is important because it will help your Tasker achieve what you want.
Luckily, Airtasker lets you find experts experienced in various services for your dream home theatre.
Display device installation
Whether you have a TV or a projector screen, Taskers can set them up for you the way you want them. You can request to have your display device mounted or get tips on how to maximise your space for your home cinema.
They’ll also connect and configure, ensuring everything is ready for use. Lastly, your Taskers will conceal cables so you can jump right into enjoying your viewing experience.
Audio system installation
To top off the amazing visuals, your Tasker can assemble a surround sound system. They handle everything, like aligning speakers, checking room acoustics and seat positioning.
You can also ask for accessories like a soundbar and amplifiers for optimal sound.
Home cinema design and installation
An essential but optional step in building your home theatre system is styling it. A home cinema design specialist can recommend a few things to add a luxurious feel to your space, such as new furniture, carpeting and lighting.
A splash of colour on the wall also does wonders for the visual appeal.
Home theatre automation
With the help of technology, it’s now possible to control your entire home theatre with the press of a button. Integrated automation lets you conveniently adjust room temperature and lighting, pull up Netflix or other streaming platforms, and so on.
Receiver installation
One crucial part of any home theatre is the receiver. This links all the wires and devices, including connecting them to the internet. Your Tasker will likely put your receiver in an accessible spot with good ventilation.
Surge protector installation
Electric surges are known to damage devices. Talk to your Tasker about installing surge protectors to keep your home theatre gadgets safe and sound.
If your home cinema installer can’t set this up for you, a trusted electrician should be able to do so.

Hello! Could you please provide a quote for assembling: * 1 Super King bed * 1 Small Double bed I would also like a Samsung TV (approx. 123 × 70 cm) wall-mounted if possible. I’m hoping to have the work done on 22 September (or soon after) at EH11 1GU. I don’t have any tools or a TV wall-mounting bracket. Would you bring the necessary tools, and can you supply the bracket as well, or would I need to buy one myself? Please let me know your total price and availability. Many thanks, Maggie
