Beauty services include more than just hair and makeup for special events. Here are some of our most popular beauty services and what you can expect when you book in:

Hairdressing 

You can hire a mobile hairdresser to do style cuts, colours, and styling for both men and women, as well as special occasion hair. When you book a mobile barber or hairdresser, they’ll come with their own tools, products, and equipment. After consulting on your hair care needs, they’ll create a plan for your treatment. If you’re having a cut and colour, such as ombre hair colour done, your hairdresser will start by applying colours first, before cutting and drying the hair. Some mobile hairdressers also specialise in services like hair extensions, dreadlocks and updo’s for special occasions.

Hair removal

Mobile beauticians are becoming increasingly popular for hair removal, with maximum privacy in your own home for body waxing and eyebrow threading. When your beautician arrives, they’ll need some space to set up their waxing table, lights, robes, towels, and equipment, and access to water and power supply for warmers and lights. Once they’re set up, they’ll tell you how to lay on the table, and the best way to position yourself for hair removal. Then they’ll leave you for a few minutes to prepare for the service. As they work, your beautician will check in with your comfort levels and make sure you’re happy with the service. At the end of the service, they’ll help to clean your skin to remove leftover wax, then give you time to get dressed before packing up their equipment.

Tattoos and piercing

When you hire a mobile tattoo artist or piercer, they’ll need plenty of space to work. They’ll usually bring their own chair for themselves, so they can work comfortably for long periods of time, and a mobile chair or table for you, depending on what area of your body they’ll be working on. Once you’ve got your final design, your tattoo artist will begin drawing the tattoo by inserting fine needles filled with ink into your skin. Once the tattoo is complete, they’ll provide you with instructions on how to care for your skin and prevent infections.

Special occasion beauty

Special occasion preparation is easy with your mobile beautician. You might hire a makeup artist to come and work a group of people in your bridal party, to prepare for a girls night out, or to apply henna tattoos for cultural events and celebrations. When you beautician arrives, they’ll bring the products and tools they need to create your perfect look for your party or event. If you’ve hired a mobile spray tanner, they’ll usually bring a special fabric tent to prevent the tanning product getting on your walls or carpets. If you’re having your makeup done for your headshots, wedding, or event, your makeup artist will usually bring their own high chair or stool, as well as lights so they can work comfortably and see as they work.

Manicure and pedicures

Mobile nail technicians can visit your home and provide full manicure and pedicure services. Your beautician will bring everything they need to trim, shape, and file your nails. They’ll apply polish and/or fake nails before moisturising the surrounding skin and treating your hands and feet to a pampering session.
