Kitchen Splashback (Degrout, Regrout & Seal) Preparation: I will remove the rangehood prior to your arrival, leaving wide-open wall access. Stovetop Access: The old sealant around the gas stovetop needs to be sliced and removed. Slide/lift the unit forward slightly so you have access to the bottom row of wall tiles. We are installing a brand new stove later, so there is no need to reseal the stove back down to the countertop. Tiling Work: Scrape out and remove the old, discolored grout from the white tiled splashback lines. Re-grout the splashback lines cleanly and apply a fresh, professional waterproof silicone seal along the base where the tiles meet the black countertop. 2. Floor Tiles (Deep Clean & grout staining/painting) Deep Clean: Give the floor tiles and grout lines a heavy-duty deep clean/scrub in both the main kitchen area and the small entryway alcove to remove built-up dirt and grease. My main aim is to make sure that all the grout is taken back fully to the membrane/substrate to prevent easy regrowth of mould.
