Experienced Seamstress Required – Bulk Clothing Alterations (Approx. 50 Garments) I’m looking for an experienced and meticulous seamstress or tailor to alter approximately 50 women’s work garments, including jackets, skirts, coats and standard midi dresses. The majority of the alterations are straightforward and involve: * Taking garments in at the back or side seams to achieve a better fit. * Shortening hems on some skirts, dresses and coats. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can: * Visit my home to take my measurements and assess the garments. * Take the garments away for alteration and return them once completed. Alternatively, I’m happy to drop off and collect the garments if that is more convenient. As there is a large quantity of clothing, I would prefer to negotiate one overall price for the entire project, rather than paying per garment. Of course, I’m happy to discuss any additional cost if a particular item requires a more complex alteration than anticipated. I’m located in the Sydney CBD (The Rocks).
