We have a new sewing machine and I need a person to teach me how to thread and use it. Thai spoken person preferred.

Sewing velcro (16-20mm wide) on the edges of the mosquito nets as seen in the photo. I have 4 nets, 122cm x 28cm each. I provide the velcro (I have with or without adhesive).

I need a dressmaker to sew a skirt for me, I bought the material quite a while back and I have not been able to get someone to help me with that, I want a simple straight skirt with elastic waist

I’d like to offer you a small sewing task to start with, if you’re interested. The quantity has been reduced from the original job post and the task is now approximately 220 scarves. The work involves sewing two rows of stitching along each edge of a label attached to each scarf. The work is repetitive, so I’m looking for neat, straight and consistent stitching. The task is $150 fixed price, and I estimate it will take around 4 hours approx The work is located in South Hurstville, however, you’re welcome to complete the work from home if that suits you. An industrial sewing machine and all materials can be provided. I’d like to do a short trial first to make sure the stitching quality and speed are suitable. If the trial goes well and you’re happy with the work, there will be additional sewing work available in the future. I’m looking for an experienced seamstress who has worked on upholstery project before and understands upholstery sewing. This would involve sewing covers for items such as: • ottomans • sofa cushions • upholstery panels Experience with thicker upholstery fabrics, piping, zips and pattern matching would be ideal. You don’t need to upholster the furniture itself — mainly sewing work — but understanding how upholstery pieces come together is important. Ideally someone located around Ramsgate, Dolls Point, or the Sutherland Shire, as I run a small upholstery studio and it would be great to collaborate locally. I need someone to measure the couches we have, carefully unpick the current stitching on the covers, and then tailor and stitch them to fit our couches perfectly.
