Hi, I need some alterations done to my suit. I am looking for an experienced tailor or seamstress who can handle the following three adjustments: 1. Jacket Sleeves: Shorten the sleeves. (Note to tailor: The sleeves [do / do not] have working buttonholes/vents). 2. Pants Hemming: Shorten the bottom of the trousers to the correct length (standard blind hem). 3. Pants Waist: Let out the waist slightly at the center back seam.

Looking for skilled seamstress or tailor with experience in upcycling old garments into bag and hat patterns. Ideally, we want you to collaborate and work with us in our North Sydney based studio. Ongoing work is available for the right candidate. We specialise in upcycling sportswear, especially football jerseys. See example images attached. Advertised price if $40 per hour. But fee's are TBC and dependent on your experience and expertise.

Island outfits for a couple

We have a new sewing machine and I need a person to teach me how to thread and use it. Thai spoken person preferred.

We have two organic cotton cot bumpers that have lost two attachment pieces that will need replacement and one is almost falling off which needs re-stitching too.

I have an old cover I need remade. It is basically a rectangle 3.5 metres long and 2 metres wide. I have the old cover that can be used as a template. The material is outdoor waterproof so machine will need to be strong enough.

I have a bunch of T Shirts and maybe 1-2 sweaters that I’d like cropped, ideally keeping the original hem so it doesn’t look altered. I can provide a sample t of the dimensions I’d like.

My mum has made a baby blanket and it needs finishing, we have the satin material to bias bind the edges. Pretty straight forward job just I don’t have the time to complete it. Probably going to take 2 hours or less

Unfortunately my dog has got ahold of my Akubra and chewed/ripped the inner leather band out along with this outside crown band. I’m wanting someone to try their best sewing it back in/on to fix it. I know it’s not going to be perfect again and I’m Completely fine with that. The Inner band has a rip in it but I reckon it can be sewed back in. The outer band is pretty simple, just needs a couple threads to hold it on. Additional Info can be provided

Hi! I am a vintage/up-cycle start up business that is in search of a tailor that has the ability to follow pattern pieces. I currently have an influx of old and new stuff that I would like to rework into new items and designs. I have a sewing machine however don’t have the hours to commit. Per item made. I will pay the maker per piece depending on complexity. To give example the first pieces I would like to create a dress from large shirts that I have on hand. I have purchased a pattern piece for this desired look and would be in search of someone who can articulate my design into a finished rework/upcycled piece. I would like to create a first range of around 10pieces to begin. So if you feel like you have the ability to meet the criteria then reach out to me and we can talk! Hi, i have 2 pairs of motorcycle jeans. 1 needs a button put on it. The other pair is a ladies pair which needs to be taken up a little. Located in Erina. Have put ten but offer your best price for this job :) If you can pick them up and bring them back, there is no rush on this job very flexible. Posted a photo of the button that is missing.

My eyesight is not the best, even with glasses and a magnifying glass and I struggle to thread the cotton through the eyehole of the needle on the machine. I get mose upset with myself because I cant see what Im doing. Would someone with much much better eyesight be able to come and thread it for me? I have a Brother Sewing Machine and for the life I dont know what model it is, but the Operation Manual book that I have is for the Product Code: 888-V14 Someone with sewing experience please and has been sewing for a long time and also knows Brother sewing machines.
