Looking for skilled seamstress or tailor with experience in upcycling old garments into bag and hat patterns. Ideally, we want you to collaborate and work with us in our North Sydney based studio. Ongoing work is available for the right candidate. We specialise in upcycling sportswear, especially football jerseys. See example images attached. Advertised price if $40 per hour. But fee's are TBC and dependent on your experience and expertise.

We would like to find someone to help us sew a custom bag. We can provide a sample. We are a small campervan company Vanted in Brookvale.

Island outfits for a couple

We have a new sewing machine and I need a person to teach me how to thread and use it. Thai spoken person preferred.

We have two organic cotton cot bumpers that have lost two attachment pieces that will need replacement and one is almost falling off which needs re-stitching too.

I have an old cover I need remade. It is basically a rectangle 3.5 metres long and 2 metres wide. I have the old cover that can be used as a template. The material is outdoor waterproof so machine will need to be strong enough.

I have a bunch of T Shirts and maybe 1-2 sweaters that I’d like cropped, ideally keeping the original hem so it doesn’t look altered. I can provide a sample t of the dimensions I’d like.

My mum has made a baby blanket and it needs finishing, we have the satin material to bias bind the edges. Pretty straight forward job just I don’t have the time to complete it. Probably going to take 2 hours or less

Unfortunately my dog has got ahold of my Akubra and chewed/ripped the inner leather band out along with this outside crown band. I’m wanting someone to try their best sewing it back in/on to fix it. I know it’s not going to be perfect again and I’m Completely fine with that. The Inner band has a rip in it but I reckon it can be sewed back in. The outer band is pretty simple, just needs a couple threads to hold it on. Additional Info can be provided

Sewing velcro (16-20mm wide) on the edges of the mosquito nets as seen in the photo. I have 4 nets, 122cm x 28cm each. I provide the velcro (I have with or without adhesive).

I'm looking for someone experienced in sewing to help me make 6 placemats and 6 coasters. I want help both in construction and sewing. 1. Construction - I will provide 3 layers: printed fabric (front), stabiliser (middle) and matching fabric (back). - I need someone to put these 3 layers together and sew them into finished placemats and coasters. 2. Decorative Edge Stitching - I want a machine-sewn blanket stitch around the entire edge of each placemat and coaster. Similar to the image attached. - The stitching should be thick, visible and coral-coloured. 3. Sewing Machine & Thread - Please tell me what sewing machine you have (brand and model). - I will buy the coral decorative thread, but I need to know which thread thickness your machine can handle. Please let me know: - Can you do both the construction and decorative stitching? - What sewing machine do you use?

I’m looking for someone experienced with sewing or fabric alterations to resize an existing mesh flyscreen for the rear tailgate opening of my 2022 Suzuki Jimny. The flyscreen is already supplied. I just need it measured, trimmed and neatly sewn to fit the opening. The work would involve: * Measuring and marking the mesh to fit the rear opening. * Cutting away excess material. * Sewing a neat, reinforced edge to prevent fraying. * Making minor adjustments to the existing magnetic/Velcro attachments if needed. I’m after a clean, snug fit to keep insects out when camping. I’m based in Rosebery, Sydney, and happy to travel locally with the vehicle and flyscreen so it can be measured properly. I have all materials, lace 4m wide by 2m length. Ruffled neck with 5cm trim around the entire cape

My eyesight is not the best, even with glasses and a magnifying glass and I struggle to thread the cotton through the eyehole of the needle on the machine. I get mose upset with myself because I cant see what Im doing. Would someone with much much better eyesight be able to come and thread it for me? I have a Brother Sewing Machine and for the life I dont know what model it is, but the Operation Manual book that I have is for the Product Code: 888-V14 Someone with sewing experience please and has been sewing for a long time and also knows Brother sewing machines.
