TAILOR / DRESSMAKER WANTED I’m looking for an experienced, high-quality tailor or dressmake I’ve recently lost quite a bit of weight and have a number of high-quality dresses that now need to be taken in and altered. I’m looking for someone who is experienced with delicate/fitted dresses and can make sure the alterations look seamless and professionally finished. I’d also love to find someone who can make dresses from scratch, as I have some ideas for dresses I’d like made in the future. Ideally looking for someone who: • Has extensive experience with women’s clothing and formal/dress alterations • Is confident working with high-quality and delicate fabrics • Has excellent attention to detail • Can provide examples/photos of previous work • Is reasonably priced, but quality is more important than the cheapest price I have quite a few dresses to alter, so I’m hoping to find someone I can build an ongoing relationship with.

Sew 6 custom fitted dining-chair cushion covers I’m looking for someone experienced with sewing cushion covers/upholstery-style covers to make 6 identical fitted seat-cushion covers for wooden dining chairs. The chairs have a tapered/trapezoid-shaped seat, so these are not standard square cushions. Approximate finished cushion dimensions are: * 420 mm wide at front * 320 mm wide at rear * 400 mm deep * 30 mm thick I have photos showing the chair and measurements and can provide the actual foam insert as a template once the final shape is confirmed. The design we’re after is very simple and contemporary: * flat fitted cover — no tufting, buttons or quilting * clean/simple edges * concealed zip so the cover can be removed * two simple fabric ties at the rear to attach to the chair back * all 6 covers identical I can supply the upholstery fabric and foam inserts, so I’m primarily looking for someone to cut and sew the six covers. I’m also happy to take advice from someone experienced regarding fabric quantity, zip type and the best way to construct the covers. We’re after a neat, professional finish rather than elaborate upholstery. If making an offer, it would be great if you could mention any previous experience making cushion covers, upholstery covers or similar, and include photos of previous work if available. Located in the Castle Hill/Hills District area. Happy to drop the foam and fabric to someone reasonably nearby.

Any alterations services in Bella Vista or Baulkham Hill area? Have 3 trousers and the waist length just need to be reduced by an inch. Looking for someone with a reasonable price. Happy to negotiate as I have few other clothes which may need alteration as well.

Want some help making some alterations to this swimsuit, ie cutting the shoulder straps and making it go around the neck.

The zip handle on my Uniqlo down jacket has broken I needs replacement. It’s a YKK. I can bring it to your store if you can fix it for less. The rest of the zip seems to be fine except a little band that I have showed in the photograph

Triple stitch jacket needs the arms to be shortened and taken in a little tighter.

Sew corner of sofa cushion

I have re thread my machine multiple times, checking online that it’s correct, but when i try to begin stitching it keeps jamming. I can’t figure out what the problem is. Machine: Walton Celestial

Need someone experienced with sewing / cushion covers / upholstery to make 2 caravan seat cushion covers identical to my existing ones. Photos of one of existing fabrics/covers attached for reference. This is for the seat/base cushions only shown in the photo, not the backrests. I will provide: - new fabric - old cushion covers to use as templates (feel free to pull pieces apart if you like) - full cushions as well if needed for fitting test Reuse existing zippers if suitable, or provide/install suitable replacement zippers if needed.
