I have a large queen suite and a few other household items of furniture too big to transport by car. Moving from one share house to another, but I don't have room for my furniture so I'm putting it into storage. Queen bed + mattress, 2 x bedside tables, 2 x chest of drawers, 1 x small bookcase, 1 x fridge, 2 x crystal cabinets and a large cat tree. Approx 13km and 12 minutes drive from the house to the storage facility. Could easily be done in one run with a 3 tonne truck. Would need a couple of runs with a van or 3 or so trips with a Ute. Ideally need two people. Storage locker is upstairs but access to a lift and trolley on site. Oh no! I forgot there is also a large hall stand! My stuff is split between two storage spots the second is en route between the pick up and drop off locations. Removals size: Apartment Stairs: At delivery - only 1 flight of stairs that are outdoor stairs leading from road to entrance. I really need some reliable trustworthy and sincere help with this move to make it as seamless as possible and get the job done without any added stress to what moving already incurs. I have ongoing work and referrals for the right person so please only apply if you have a strong work ethic and are genuinely happy to show up and help with this task. I will likely need some assembling maybe a bed as I don’t have any tools and I’m just one female who knows her strengths and limitations. That said, I’ve had bad experiences with Removalists in the past and it’s left me a little bit nervous. In the past Removalists have shown up without adequate equipment, with limited time available before having to either knock off for the day or rush to next job, had no regard for the contents being moved and have been rough and rushing causing damage to walls, breakage and throwing things everywhere and NOT requested rooms. Just not had any work ethic or respect. I’ve always given tips and looked after the assigned taskers.
