Hi, I have chronic illness and low energy. I need a helper to help me pack, move and unpack a carload or two of stuff as part of a house move. You don’t need a van, a spacious hatchback would be fine. The sort of stuff to be moved is boxes and bags, plants, odd shaped bits and pieces. While I have low energy (as mentioned) I’ll be working alongside you, we’ll just take it at a manageable pace. The most important thing is that you be friendly and flexible. Initially I’m posting this as a single task (let’s say approx 3 hours) but I’d like to do a few more sessions over the coming weeks. This might also include some light cleaning and moving furniture around within the destination house. I’d like to get started ASAP. My time is very flexible including evenings. Need help packing on Friday morning. I’ve moved myself and cat, but not all of my personal effects yet. The main job is helping to sort and pack my stuff at the old place. Full disclosure: things are tense with the ex-housemates, so your company and moral support are part of the deal. A calm and friendly demeanour would be a plus. If you have a car and could help me move small items to my new place (1km away) at the end of the session, that would be awesome. If not, it’s not a deal killer. I'm not moving houses: furniture has to go out on the deck, and prior to that items from shelves have be taken off, put in boxes, and labelled. Rate is for the first hour. I'd say 4 hours of work. I will be helping.
