I need a queen size mattress which is very heavy picked up from essendon and dropped at Beaconsfield. Also need old mattress lifted off the bed and new one placed on bed. Thanks
Within 5 minutes of accepting the Tasker called that I had to give him more money for fuel to do the job, I ended up offering $10 and he said it has to be $20. He arrived at my house to get the cash one hour before the job was meant to be completed (still had to drive from Beaconsfield to essendon and back). I told him it was all going to be too late as I had to go out at 12.45 and wouldn’t be back to 6. He said he’d still go get it and hold onto it and deliver at 6. At 4.30 he was calling me saying when will you be home, are you home yet. He had no protection in his van and my beautiful white mattress arrived dirty, especially the top as it was placed top down. He was very demanding and intimidating, telling me to help carry the mattress when I clearly stated I couldnt due to injury prior. I was made to feel that everything was a hassle for him and clearly hadn’t read what I had asked for or didn’t care to listen. This is my first time using Airtasker and I am so disappointed.
