My baby grand piano is being delivered after months travelling. It is disassembled (i.e. lid, legs removed) but the body still weighs almost as much as an upright. And one of my strongest lifters has injured his back - so I need two or three able-bodied people to replace them, either Wednesday evening (around 9pm) or Thursday morning (9:30). Task: lift it out of the van onto a sliding surface we have, lift it over the threshold into the house, and then lift/turn and hold it horizontal while we mount the final leg. Three lifts of it really... But it is better with 5 or 6 people than just 3!
