I am looking for a reliable and experienced removalist to help me move big items of my apartment. The building I’ll be moving out of has specific access, vehicle, and lift requirements, so it is important that you can meet these conditions before making an offer. All moving must be done via the loading dock and basement access only. Use of the ground floor lobby is not permitted. I’ll be moving to a house and there are a few steps to get into the house, and the bed + chest of drawers will need to be taken to the second floor. Moving out - Building Access and Vehicle Requirements: - Basement access will be provided on the day - The loading dock has a maximum vehicle clearance height of 3900 mm. - The basement area has a clearance height of 2200 mm beyond the second security gate. - Your vehicle must fit within these height limits. - Furniture and boxes cannot be carried up or down the car park ramp. - there are a few steps/stairs from the lift to the loading dock Items to Be Moved: The move includes standard household furniture and boxes, including but not limited to: - Queen Bed headboard, frame and mattress - 2 x Sofas (one sofa is in the storage cage and will needs to be walked over to the loading dock) - Dining table (also in the storage cage and walked over to the loading dock) - 2 x Chest of drawers - TV unit - TV - Full length mirror - Side table - bookshelf Dismantling Required: A couple of furniture items will need to be dismantled to allow safe transport and lift access.
