Removalists and van or truck to move furniture from Newtown to Burwood, both places are houses, not apartments or flats. Need to move furniture as listed below and shown in the photos. Photos of bookcases are indicative as the books have now been removed. Only one of the ladders in that photo is being moved. All drawers of the chests of drawers are empty. The items are: • 2 x Small chest of drawers, 480 mm wide, 330 mm deep, 580 mm high • 2 x Medium chest of drawers, 630 mm wide, 535 mm deep, 720 mm high • 1 x Large chest of drawers, 525 mm deep, 1135 mm wide, 970 mm high • 2 x Empty bookcases, 900 mm wide, 250 mm deep, 1800 mm high • 1 x Lounge chair, 860 mm wide, 820 mm deep, 800 mm high • 1 x Ladder – Standard aluminium ladder, I think it is about 1800 mm high There are three steps out the front in Newtown, and five steps at Burwood for two items, and no steps at a different entrance for the remainder of the items. There are nine items in total. My best guess is it will take less than 45 minutes to load them, only two are heavy – the lounge chair and the large chest of drawers. Likewise the same time to unload them and place them in the house where we want them. Newtown to Burwood is about half an hour so my best guess is this job should take two hours or less. I have seen many removals quotes but I do not understand them because they say they have a one hour minimum booking fee, but they don’t say how much that is and then extra time on top of that. I’ve tried to define the job closely and I’ve set a budget of $200 and seek fixed-price bids. Thanks for reading this and look forward to your bids.
