Furniture Removal – 3-Bedroom Unit to Ground Floor Garage We need help moving the full contents of a 3-bedroom unit down to our garage, ahead of a renovation. This also includes moving potted plants down to the backyard. The Job Unit is on the 2nd floor of a 7-unit block — 32 steps total (4 landings, 8 steps each) between the unit and the garage Garage is at ground level, just off the main door, at the end of the driveway Items: 32 pieces of furniture, plus various boxes A numbered floor plan and item list will be provided on the day, showing exactly where each piece goes in the garage Two single mattresses and one king mattress also need to come down (placed last, once furniture is stacked) Suggested Order The garage is divided into 4 zones. Items should come down roughly in this order, back of garage first, so nothing needs to be carried over pieces already placed: Back wall items first Left wall items Right wall items Items near the door last Where two items are stacked, the base piece goes down before the item that sits on top of it. Potted Plants Approximately 20 potted plants (various sizes) currently on the balcony need to be carried down to the backyard There are also about 2-3 potted plants in the stairwell Some potted plants may be scattered inside the unit Photos with rough counts of pots and placement will be provided Moveable or Not? Our IKEA king bed is a challenge. Try and see if it could be moved. If yes, do it last and see if it will fit in the middle/aisle of the garage.
