Silentflo 750 pump not working. Just makes a gumming sound when turned on.

Pipe connection to my pool filter seems to be worn out and starting to leak. Needs repair/replacement. See photo below.

Spa is Empty now when full the level drops . Leak?

Pool has fine white dust. It is sticking on tiles. I think it is calcium. Scrub or clean tiled pool as scaly with calcium and it’s getting tough to scrub with pool broom. Also find remedy or other solution to fix issue. Test water. I have chemicals, but if more is required can purchase seperate. Pool is approx 9m x 3m with spa that is 2m x 3m. Approx 50k pool as has deep end.

Vacuum won’t work. Says there is a blockage. I’ve taken apart things/looked with a torch and can’t see anything that would cause this blockage. Suspect a filter issue? Have attached photos of the visual instruction the vacuum gives. It says to check for blockages everywhere. I need someone with Dyson vacuum experience please.

Pool pump humming but not starting – likely capacitor Pool pump: Waterco Supatuf 1.0HP MK2 Pump powers on but only hums, does not spin and no water flow. Pump lid is seized and cannot be opened by hand. Suspect failed start capacitor or seized impeller (possibly after running dry). Looking for a technician who can: – Safely open the pump lid – Check if impeller spins freely – Test and replace start capacitor if required – Re-prime system Please advise availability, experience with pool pumps, and call-out cost.

There's a leak on the pool pump and hence pump seal keeps getting lost. Need someone to fix the pump so can use Pool pump for party on the weekend.

Actual price can also be discussed when you assess the issue . My pool has two motors. One of them sucks down, and one of them pushes up in terms of leaves and debris in the pool. At present one of the motors that sucks down I believe has stopped working . I need a pool specialist to come and assess the issue and get a solution .

The pool equipment is currently housed by a brick wall structure. The existing top wooden cover has rotted and needs to be replaced with a similar protective cover to restore its function. The new cover should: Sit on top of the structure (approx. 1.2m x 1.2m and 350mm high) Allow access to pool equipment Protect equipment from rain Be constructed from wood or metal, consistent with the original purpose. Needing to remove and replace pool chlorinator.

I need someone to relay my pool plumbing to (A) remove an old chlorine feeder line that is no long used, (B) to remove an old pool pump that used to dive a polaris pool cleaner, (C) to turn the old polaris inlet into another return, and (D) to replace the 2 stopper values that no longer seem to stop the water when moved to the stop water flow position. All the pipes are above ground so there is no (or very very limited) digging involved.

Hey Airtaskers! I’m reaching out regarding our pool at our rental property. We’ve had an issue with the skimmer box and poor suction from the vacuum. Instead of replacing it (as pool shop quoted a few thousand dollars), I decided to repair it myself. The skimmer box is now working perfectly, but unfortunately, something went wrong with the sand filter afterwards. Since then, I’ve let the pool go, and it’s become quite green and dirty. We just extended our lease for another two years, so I’d really love to get the pool properly fixed and maintained again. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can: • Drain, clean, and repair the pool (especially the sand filter – I suspect the issue is with the sand inside). • Then provide regular maintenance afterwards. Return Water Pipe Cover Missing • The cover for the return water pipe at the bottom of the swimming pool has been missing for approximately six months. • It is possible that the pipe might now be blocked. • When the pump is powered on (Power light illuminated), no water flow is observed. • Refer to the first photo left-hand side hole missing cover and right hand side hole still have the cover: the missing cover may be branded “Water Co,” as the side cover showed this brand. 2. Main Water Pump • Refer to the second photo: the main water pump powers on (light is on), but no water is flowing. • There is no visible leakage on the floor. • The issue may be with the pump itself. 3. Chlorine Generator Cell • Refer to the third photo: the chlorine generator is not producing sufficient chlorine. • Please inspect the cell and settings, and replace the cell if necessary. Brand is “unique AC” 4. Spa Air Pump • Refer to the fourth photo: the spa air pump, which generates bubbles in the pool, may be leaking. • When operated for approximately five minutes, it triggers the main switch, cutting power to the house. 5. Swimming Jet Pumps • The pool has two water jet pumps for swimming functionality. • Only one jet is currently producing water. • This may be due to a leak in one of the pipes or a malfunction in one of the pumps.
