Hi, I have a leak from the rainwater isolation tap located under the laundry sink. Issue Description * The tap is labelled “RAIN WATER” and supplies the washing machine. * Water is dripping continuously from the threaded outlet (where the washing machine hose connects), even when no hose is attached. * Based on inspection, the leak appears to be coming from inside the tap body, not from the threaded connection itself. The water seems to travel through the tap and then drip from the outlet. * The PVC drain pipe is not leaking. Suspected Cause The issue appears to be one of the following: * Worn or damaged spindle O-ring/gland seal. * Faulty internal valve/washer inside the isolation tap. * If the tap is old, it may require complete replacement rather than repair. Requested Work Could you please: 1. Inspect the rainwater isolation tap. 2. Confirm whether the spindle/O-ring or internal valve is leaking. 3. Repair the tap if possible by replacing the necessary seals or washers. 4. If repair is not practical, replace the entire mini stop/isolation tap with a new one. 5. I am please needing a shower head installed. Not exactly sure what style given my bathroom layout. The best options for this bathroom would be great. Also need a shower curtain installed. Shower Head I am not sure what to do regarding the shower head, the cheapest option would be great but am open to other suggestions. There's already the bathtub tap installed, can we sort a mixer with a diverter form this so people can switch between filling the bath or using the shower? Is there a handheld shower holder that can be plumbed from the tap already there ? Shower head placement would be the next question. What about a shower head coming through the roof? Does that make things easier (might be expensive) ? Sorry mate am unsure what the most affordable/ practical option is. I am just wanting a useable shower for tenants. Shower Curtain What's the best options for this? Would a roof hung shower curtain circular or "L" shape given the windows at one end be most appropriate ? Or Is there enough room to run a normal straight shower curtain from above the wind to the other side ? I am unsure, please let me know your thoughts. Practicality for the tenants and affordability are my main concerns, especially given that a renovation would take place down the track at some point. Not sure what your thoughts on a shower screen and how this would be located? Would this run off the opposite side of the tub to the winder and bath tap? Not sure of the costing for this ?

I please need the wall above the bath tub water proofed. It's for a rental so practicality and affordability are the priority. I will be getting a shower head installed and dont want water running on the unprotected wall (obviously). Wall Waterproofing I assume it will be expensive to tile the rest of the bathroom wall above the bathtub tiles? I wonder if there's a cheaper option? Wet area wall from bunnings? Trim this to fit, seal at the joins, waterproof paint (or whatever) applied to the wall before installing this ? The reason I ask is id because eventually the bathrooms will be renovated (no time soon) and I'd hate to spend money unnecessarily, however the layout of the bathroom would still probably be the same as I would want to keep a bathtub in the house. Practically and affordability is more of my concern over looks as it is just to make this space functional for showering. There may be some tiles at the house, in the big shed or the smaller shed at the back but I wouldn't expect that. I was unsure of the costing for this , materials + labour. Want someone who does good quality work and want it please done properly.
