I have a Dux 310 litre electrical HWS installed outside in 2010, Thermostat replaced in 2023. Replaced again in April 2026 and now (June 2026) hot water is off again. Wiring to hws comes from under roofing iron, down external wall. Voltage tester run along conjute shows power appears to cut out close to hws. (Voltage tester has new batteries).

Kitchen tap repair / possible replacement needed. The kitchen mixer tap is supposed to swivel between the two sinks but it is currently stuck and won’t rotate properly. The tap is also lifting up from the bench when I try to move it. After checking underneath the sink, the mounting hardware appears to be heavily rusted. Because of this, the tap won’t swivel as intended and needs to be pressed down with one hand just to move it slightly. Looking for someone to: • Inspect the tap • Fix the mounting if possible, or • Replace the kitchen mixer tap if the rust has damaged the fitting.

Hoping to get a quote and have the current taps moved from above the bench to underneath the bench, with a mixer tap connected. Will be pulling kitchen cabinets out this week and walls off in the next couple of weeks, so not fussed if they end being cut up/damaged. The copper pipes currently come from the ceiling and down the side of the window, and the tap will need to be moved over for new cupboards. I know it's a bit of a long shot but hoping to get this done either Thursday or Friday arvo, or sometime over the weekend as my other plumber fell through.
