Drinkers need to be cleaned inside, I use a bottle brush or end of wooden spoon & rag to get into end of tube. Pegs need to be sterilised (can soak in boiling water first).

Looking for a pet sitter for my bird (cockatiel) in July near Paddington who has experience with birds. Going away from 8 July (drop off lunch or evening) to 26 July (pick up lunch or evening). She would need fresh seeds and water each day and some time to stretch her wings. She’s a good flyer so would need somewhere she can fly safely. She’s a mature lady (around 20 years old) and is unlikely to be ‘warm’ / cuddly with someone else but does appreciate company and following someone around. Or sitting quietly and watching like a gargoyle. Looking to find someone in or close to Paddington as that would mean less transport time for her - which she’s not the fondest of. I would also like to arrange a quick catch up before July to introduce you and answer any questions :)

I have two cockatiels that I need taken care of regularly. I’m currently paying about $25 per day, which is getting to be a bit expensive. Plus the person I have lives 40mins away so I’m looking for somebody around Coolum /yandina etc I need them looked after a lot. I’m looking for someone with their own Avery preferably so that it’s not too much of a bother. Unless someone has kids who would love an extra friend without the long term commitment. It’s going to be consistent so I’m looking for a daily rate of $10-$15 But willing to negotiate I can drop them off and pick them up They have their own cage if you don’t have an Avery

Clean two aviaries. Top of roof not needed. Remove shelving both cages, pull apart, put in red bin. Plastic containers, obvious rubbish in red bin. Remove all seed and dropping material both cages. Use wire brush on droppings, paint scrapers to scrape floor. Material can go in green bin. In aviary with brown front and green inner wall will have to pull forward internal rear concrete blocks (easy) and clean behind. Scrape and wipe down all internal walls. Wipe perches. Can hose out at finish. Note this cage has a small door about 1m high. 2nd cage, mainly wire walls. As above, not necessary to move concrete blocks. Use wire brush on top of concrete blocks. Consider wearing a mask it could be mouldy and dusty. Will provide wire brushes, paint scrapers, dust pans, buckets, rags. If you want to use vacuum or other equipment byo.

This is not a house cleaner but a bird house cleaner. The house is a 3 metre by 2 metre converted office where the birds in their cages are. I need somone that has cleaned bird poop and depris such as mould etc. There are four walls and a celing that need to be cleaned. Must have bird and animal safe chemicals. Looki g for at least once a month full clean. This is a pet sitting gig from 13th of February to 20th of march, she will require daily water change every 2nd day seed change and 2nd weekly news paper change. Cuddles optional but recommended. If you love birds this might be the task for you happy to drop her off either in goldcoast or south brisbane. Will make final decision on taskers offers 28/1/26 she comes with a travel cage she can stay in, she is able to fly ( she dosent have a history of flying away but There is always a worry of her being attacked by other birds so she usually stays inside.) Her normal cage is alot bigger then her travel cage but she is ok to stay in her travel cage for a couple weeks. I will provide a couple boxes of seed for the 5 week duration.
