Sun Conure Bird Sitting – 21 to 30 August I’m looking for a reliable and caring person to look after my Sun Conure parrot while I’m overseas from 21 August to 30 August. The job is mainly to: Feed and provide fresh water daily Clean food/water bowls and keep the cage tidy Give some attention and interaction each day Make sure the bird is safe, comfortable and well looked after My parrot is friendly and I’ll provide all food and clear instructions. Ideally, I’d prefer someone with experience caring for parrots/birds. Please let me know your experience with birds and your availability for these dates. I need bird sitting for 3 weeks for my conure Mieka. this would included daily water change and 2nd daily food change and if possible a bit of fresh food with food change. She's super chill cuddels are encouraged but optional. She has a travel cage and if your on the goldcoast or even certain areas of south brisbane I will be able to drop her off. Drop off will be around 23rd or 24th and pick up will be around 17th of September.

- shovel refuse, seed husks off concrete floor - bag refuse in rubbish bags -then pressure-wash the floor & aviary walls - 3 hours work ($40 per hour)

- $40 an hour - would suit a younger agile person - bagging & removing aviary ground cover - then pressure cleaning the aviary

I have birds. I sometimes go away for a week or weeks at a time or just overnight. Conures are not a beginners parrot. If you are a beginner you would have to be willing to let me train you.

What’s involved: -Feeding and fresh water daily -Letting them out of the cage for playtime -A bit of company and interaction (they love attention!) -General check that they’re happy and healthy They’re very easy to handle and make lovely little companions. I’m happy to bring their cage and food to you, or we can discuss what works best. If you’re an animal lover (especially with bird experience) and available over those dates, I’d love to hear from you!

Pick up from Thurgoona, clean and return. Not urgent. Use hot soapy water (not boiling). Rinse well.

Pick up from Thurgoona Friday or Saturday and take to your place. Return by 10am Sunday. Requires attention to detail. Wash and dry bird seed dishes, drinkers, buckets - everything you see in photos. Can soak in very hot (not boiling) soapy water first, makes easy to scrub. some dish washing detergent ok. Rinse well. Drinkers need to be cleaned inside, I use a bottle brush or end of wooden spoon & rag to get into end of tube. Pegs need to be sterilised (can soak in boiling water first).

Replace and Install my Corella birds natural perch approx 933cm in length. His original is very old and snapped.
