I’m looking for a mobile mechanic to inspect a 2012 Skoda Octavia Scout diesel wagon before buying. The car runs and drives, but the engine light is on and the battery is flat, so I need someone who can bring a diagnostic scan tool / OBD2 scanner to read the fault codes and give me a basic opinion on whether it looks like a minor issue or a major repair risk. I’m mainly after a general pre-purchase inspection and the engine light diagnosis. Please send your offer if you have a scanner and experience with European diesel cars.Thanks!

I have a Honda Accord 2005 sedan. There is a small issue with going into top gear once I get on the motorway. Also, I can drive the car around the suburbs fine. I have had the car a few years and never changed the transmission fluid. I changed it a few weeks ago and it was as black as old engine oil. I then drove it around for around 3 days and it was going fine, then it slowly started the same problem again. I've checked the transmission fluid a few times since I changed it and it's gone back to being very dirty again.

2007 Mercedes Benz a class wont start. Fob batteries fine as they lock and unlock car. The car also has battery as dashboard lights up and car also turning over so not a battery issue. Please send quotes for hourly rate/ fixing on the roadside, a mechanic said it is likely to be a fuel filter that is causing it to not start properly. I can supply the parts.

My 2006 BF Fairmont starter motor died and I have a new genuine Ford starter motor ready to install, but I can't reach the notorious top bolt to the bellhousing. I require a mobile mechanic to help me with my Volkswagen Amarok Ute which has a coolant leak. I’m unsure where exactly the leak is coming from but hope that it is a simple enough fix. Car is currently parked at Greenslopes and given the amount of coolant it is leaking, it has not been moved since the leak was discovered.
