I have already replaced: • the genuine BMW thermostat cover • the genuine BMW O-ring Both parts are brand new, but the leak is still coming from the same area. I suspect there may be a crack or deformation in the plastic radiator tank around the thermostat sealing area. I’m looking for someone who can: 1. Perform a cooling-system/radiator pressure test to confirm exactly where the leak is coming from. 2. Inspect the radiator and determine whether the plastic tank can be repaired/plastic-welded. 3. Advise whether the radiator needs to be replaced if it cannot be repaired. I’m not looking to replace parts unnecessarily, I would like to confirm the actual problem first. Hi, I’m looking for a mobile mechanic or diesel mechanic to help fix an issue with my 2015 Toyota HiAce diesel van. I recently replaced the diesel fuel filter, reconnected everything and primed the system, but the van now won’t start. It initially started for a few seconds and then turned off. There appears to be a fuel leak coming from the outgoing fuel connection/fitting on the diesel filter housing when priming. I need someone to inspect it, fix the leak/connection issue, prime the system properly and get the van running again.
