2007 Mercedes Benz a class wont start. Fob batteries fine as they lock and unlock car. The car also has battery as dashboard lights up and car also turning over so not a battery issue.

I have 2 mk6 gtis at my house at the moment: 1 of them needs the stock downpipe to be installed back on the car And the second one needs an oil sump repair. I have oil, oil sump, new bolts and the downpipe all ready to go just need someone who has a spare hour or two to come and install both items. Also if you could bring a rattle gun and take off the wheels on the front 2 tyres and leave it on bricks that I have placed right next to the car that would be great. Also need to bring an obd11 that can clear dash lights Cars are located at the same address in summer hill.

Came back from 2 week holiday and car won't start. All the lights turn on, but engine won't turn over. I just hear a slight hum and a two clicks when trying to start. Suspect the starter motor is the issue. I have tried to jumpstart the vehicle using another car/battery without success, same issue. Prefer someone with BMW experience, and preferably able to diagnose and replace the starter (if that's the issue) or other parts without having to take the car to a workshop as it's parked inside an apartment carpark. I own a 2006 Lexus is250 Recently my wife and I had a child and we did not leave the house for some time we also have 2 cars one of which is the newer one 2017 model.
