I have purchased a Volkswagen Caddy. It is a 2009 1.6 petrol non turbo. I would like to get the timing belt and water pump replaced. Looking for a capable mobile mechanic or experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair a sudden, severe oil leak on a 2011 Ford Territory (2.7L V6 Diesel, AWD). The car has had a very minor, slow oil weep for a while, but it has just suddenly dumped a large amount of oil and is currently not safe to drive long distances without running dry. Suspected Issue: Likely a failed oil seal around the front differential/intermediate shaft area or where the drive assembly interfaces near the engine/gearbox. What I need from the Tasker: Step 1 (Diagnose): Safely hoist/jack up the front end, clean away the dumped oil, locate the exact source of the leak, and confirm the specific parts/seals required. Step 2 (Repair): Replace the failed seal, clean the underbody, and top up/replace the correct fluids (engine oil or differential gear oil, depending on what leaked). Location & Tools: The car is located in Mickleham. It is parked on a flat surface at the front of the house with decent access space. You will need to bring your own professional tools, heavy-duty jack/stands and oil catch pans.
