Context: House has ducted heating and cooling by Bonaire. Heating is controlled by the Navigator portable thermostat. The wall thermostat is currently disconnected. Problem: The Heat/Cool switch button on the Navigator portable thermostat does not work.Unable to turn on the evaporative cooling. It's is stuck in heating mode which works fine. Potential solutions: 1. Reconnect the wall thermostat to the heating system and connect the navigator to the evaporative cooling. This was a prior setup that worked. 2. Enable switching from heating to cooling on the portable thermostat. Either solution is acceptable. The job must be done by a qualified HVAC technician.
