I need one working Fedders 2.6kW split-system air conditioner deep cleaned in Templestowe Lower. It is an older R22 system. Scope requested: • Remove and wash the indoor covers, filters and airflow louvres. • Thoroughly clean the indoor coil and blower fan, including dust and mould removal. Not just a filter clean. • Please state whether blower fan and drain tray removal is included. If removal is unsuitable due to the unit’s age or condition, explain your cleaning method. • Clean the drain tray and flush/check the drain hose. • Clean the outdoor condenser coil and visually check pipe insulation. • Check cooling, airflow and unusual noise before and after cleaning. • Protect walls, flooring and electrical components during washing, and clean up afterwards. The indoor unit should remain mounted on the wall. No refrigerant pipe disconnection is required. No refrigerant top-up or repairs without my prior approval. The indoor unit is accessible by ladder; the outdoor unit is at ground level. Budget: $200. Hi, I’m looking for a quote for air conditioning inspection and repairs at my property in Bulleen. There are 4 air conditioners in total. Three were installed previously, and one is a newer unit installed last year. They have already been cleaned. At the moment, there are two issues that need attention: 1. One outdoor unit cover/panel has not been fitted properly and needs to be secured correctly. 2. The downstairs air conditioner previously stopped working. It started working again for a while, but now it seems to be having problems again and needs to be checked and repaired. I need all four units to be inspected and any necessary repairs completed. Importantly, the inspection and repair work must be carried out by a properly licensed/qualified air-conditioning and refrigeration technician. I also need the relevant service report/certificate issued by the technician who actually carries out the work, not by an external person who did not perform the inspection or repairs. The ducts and fan gas heater unit can stay in their current location. The distance of the new location is approximately 15m away. (See photos) Easy access is available under the house.
