The top of our mailbox is cracked and pieces broken off. It needs fixing and to be restored to looking how it did prior to it being damaged. Perhaps a replaced top? Or render it? The fix must be weatherproof and resist re-breaking, as well as blend with the rest. It's approx 35cm X 35cm. I wonder if a treated timber replacement top would work 🤔 (painted to match) Please clearly explain your proposed method and materials for fixing

I have completed the construction I wanted and have done some initial basecoating, but have realised the limitations of my abilities and require someone to complete the basecoating, sanding and top coating, ready for painting, also the completion of the cornicing around the ceiling. I do not require painting work (I will do that), just the plaster work to a smooth finish, reading for painting
