My front door is sagging. It’s a large metal front door with several hinges on the left currently I can’t open or close it. It needs to be lifted and the hinges need to be readjusted so that the door can be operable. NOTE photos don’t show it because it’s not visible. The sagging prevents the kick from opening it’s not visible but if we push the door up we can open it. It takes place gradually over time. The door needs to be fixed at the hinges.

I have 3 handyman jobs to complete: 1. Assemble and wall-mount new bathroom cabinet (still in box) - New flat-pack shaving cabinet, approx. 1200 mm wide and 30 kg according to the box. - Existing cabinet has already been removed, and the wall is cleared/prepared (see photos). - Cabinet needs to be assembled and securely mounted to the wall. - I can install the cabinet doors afterwards, so no need to fit/adjust the doors. - Two people will be available at the property and can assist with lifting the cabinet into position if required. 2. Relocate existing bathroom cabinet to laundry - Existing approx. 900 mm cabinet has already been removed. - I would like it securely mounted on the laundry wall above the laundry sink (location shown in photos). - I have the existing screws/wall plugs from its previous installation, although please use your own suitable fixings if these aren't appropriate or you have a preference. 3. Mount decorative coat/clothes hooks. - Small metal hook rack to be mounted on bedroom wall. - I have marked the preferred position and have some screws/wall plugs available. - There is a light switch on the opposite side of this wall, so I'd like you to sense-check my markings to avoid wiring/studs before drilling and adjust the fixing position if necessary. Please bring appropriate tools, wall fixings and ideally a stud/electrical detector. Photos attached showing all three areas/items. No plumbing or electrical work required. I am free all weekend and Monday morning. The sooner the better.

I have a large 70cm x 70cm hole I need fixed in plasterboard. And two other almost repaired plasterboard jobs that just need some finishing. And a few minor very small holes.

Hi, I’m looking for a reliable handyman to install 8 single extendable curtain rods at my home in Tullimbar. The curtain rod sets were recently purchased from Bunnings. The walls are standard gyprock/plasterboard, and the maximum ceiling height is around 2.9 metres. What I’m after: * Install 8 curtain rods above standard windows * Position the rods around 10–15 cm above the top of the window architrave * Extend the rod/brackets around 20–30 cm past each side of the window * Make sure everything is straight, level and securely fixed * Maximum ceiling height is approximately 2.9 m I already have the Bunnings curtain rod sets and the screws that came with them. As the walls are gyprock, I’m not sure whether the supplied screws will be suitable. Please bring suitable heavy-duty plasterboard anchors (such as toggle bolts or hollow-wall anchors) in case the brackets don’t line up with timber studs. I’m happy to reimburse the cost of any extra hardware used. Please bring your usual tools, including a drill, level, stud finder and any other tools normally required for this type of installation. We are looking for an experienced and reliable handyman to attend a residential property and assess and rectify two maintenance issues in the bathroom. 1. Bathroom Door Handle / Damaged Door The bathroom door handle has come loose/out. The existing hole around the handle appears to have widened and there is damage that may require patching/repair. Assess the door and repair the damaged area appropriately. Reinstall, repair or replace the door handle as required. The finished repair must be secure, functional and neat. 2. Bathroom Window Lock The bathroom window currently has no functioning lock/latch. Assess what hardware is missing or required. Supply and install a suitable replacement lock/latch so the window can be securely closed and locked. Please include all labour and clearly advise of any anticipated material costs in your offer. We require someone experienced in general property maintenance and repairs who can provide a professional, long-term solution rather than a temporary fix.
