Jobs for a handy person? Preferably one person for both tasks… One task is fluro light in my kitchen has let go at one end and needs re-affixing to the roof. It’s a raked ceiling but i have a ladder if that helps. The other task is replacing all the door catches on the wardrobe doors and linen cupboard as they are old and 80% of them have snapped and the doors just hang open. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 linen cupboard (approx 8 door catches). Preferably replace them with something more robust than plastic catches. Happy to negotiate a fair price for the job and time it takes!

Looking for someone experienced with door locks to replace the existing lock and improve the door closing/locking system. Location: Arana Hills Details: • The door already has pre-drilled holes on the door itself. • However, holes will need to be drilled in the opposite side (door frame / jamb) where the door closes to properly install and align the locking points. • I would like to replace the main central latch with a stronger one and improve the locking system at the top and bottom of the door so it closes much more securely. What I need: • Replace the main central latch/lock with a stronger one. • Install or replace lock cylinder with keys. • Drill and install strike holes/plates in the door frame where needed. • Adjust the door so it locks properly and securely. Replace a heavy wooden sliding door handle with a larger stronger one

Apparently I am a lot stronger than I thought, I have snapped the door handle off. Renting so if it can be fixed cheaply then great, otherwise I assume needs replacing. Looking for someone to source parts as needed and repair/replace for a functional door again.

Replace the door lock set with same chrome type, has to be lockable with keys.

Can I get someone to install one internal door . I have brought the exact same door that needs to be replaced. I also need someone to install the standard internal lock.

Need to buy an external door from a store and install it. drill key holes for me and I can install lock by myself. Just buy and install the new door with hinges, and I can do the rest by myself. Bunnings is 5 minutes from my place. I am looking at a 2050*950*35/40 door.
