I have a dog door that needs inserting in the sliding glass door. There is an insert for the door that needs to be cut to size to fit in the sliding glass rails and then the dog door attached to the insert and then the sliding glass door frame. Need tool to cut the aluminium insert to fit and drill to attached components. Can provide videos from dog door company with install instructions. Hi, I need a medium dog door installed in my sliding security door. The dog door is 29cm in width and 34cm in height. Will involve cutting what I believe to be metal using a template and using screws to secure the door in place. Screws may need to be grinded down to fit. The door may not be metal so other tools may be required, which would probably make the job easier. The instructions are specific to a wooden door, so you can’t rely on them completely.
