The door is the old wooden style, but it could do with some refurbishment (see photos) - I don't know if that's possible, also happy without. there is a fly screen door but that can be propped open as I imagine it's easier to do the one door rather than both. It's for a mini sausage dog who will end up being around 7kg, so fairly small size. I am happy to reimburse for the door or purchase one and do some research on sizes. Thank you

Hi, I need a medium dog door installed in my sliding security door. The dog door is 29cm in width and 34cm in height. Will involve cutting what I believe to be metal using a template and using screws to secure the door in place. Screws may need to be grinded down to fit. The door may not be metal so other tools may be required, which would probably make the job easier. The instructions are specific to a wooden door, so you can’t rely on them completely.
