Looking for someone experienced with older brick walls to refit a curtain rod and rehang the curtain tomorrow, Sunday 25 October, in Vaucluse. The building is about 80 years old. The wall plugs have pulled out, leaving enlarged holes and crumbling brick. I tried Ramset UltraFix, but it didn't hold. Please assess the wall and securely refit the brackets, using fresh fixing positions or another suitable method. I'd also like all brackets supporting this rod checked, and the old holes filled, smoothed and left ready for painting. Please clean up the drilling dust and debris afterwards. The curtain, rod and existing brackets are supplied. Please bring your own tools, masonry drill and bits, ladder, suitable fixings and filling materials. Please include labour, standard fixings and hole patching in your offer. If replacement brackets, a mounting board or other materials are needed, please let me know upfront and include any extra cost. Please include your availability tomorrow and how you'd approach the repair. Experience with older brick walls preferred.

Install 4 curtain rods, 3 brackets per rod. 3 x 180cm~ 1 x 210cm Walls should be double brick but not 100% sure. May need to bring your own longer/sturdy nails as my curtains are quite heavy and the nails that came with the brackets may not be long enough. I have a small step ladder but it may be easier if you bring a slightly taller one. Ceilings are 2.7m.
