I need a plasterer to fix my detaching ceiling cornice outside the front of my house. A new plaster cornice will need to replace the old one as this will be the second time it has had to be fixed. And the first attempt has not even lasted 9 months. As this will be the second time it has had to be fixed I'm only looking for a reputable person who actually knows what they are doing.

I'm seeking a tradie to repair the roof lining of my back patio in Cragieburn. The plasterboard and cornices will need to be replaced. I am seeking someone to quote me for both materials and labour. It measures approx 308cm x 394 cm and it about 3m high. The roof lining collapsed several months ago. The area was made safe by my insurance company (all debris removed, electrics disconnected completely) and covered up with chipboard. They determined via a structural engineer that the collapse happened due to installation and construction defects and are not covering it. So I am seeking someone who is willing to do a compliant replacement (see relevant details from engineer report in one of the attached images). I am seeking someone with availability this week on either Tuesday Sept 30, Wednesday Oct 1, Thursday Oct 2 or Friday Oct 3. Parking on site is easy in my driveway and everything is on the ground floor with easy access to the back via the garage. Approx 5m of cornice supplied & installed. It’s around a kitchen cupboard & rangehood so there will be 6 pieces with 6 corners.

Looking to have old decorative cornices removed and replaced with new plain modern ones. One room only (living room). Rough size of the room is 5.5x6. I have decommissioned my gas ducted heating and want to have the wall vent removed and plastered over. It goes into the linen cupboard and there’s a box over it in the cupboard that I want removed and there would be a hole in the floor to cover over, as the ducted heating was under the house. In my garage the plaster is coming away between the ceiling and the brick wall on one side, which requires repair. Water leaked down through it one time when it rained but since clearing the gutter out it hasn’t happened again. (I am open to this not being part of the task if I actually need a roofer) Other smaller bits of replastering: - Looking to have an old wall mounted heating control unit and phone line outlet removed and replastered over. - hole where old light fitting used to be - hole from I presume where an old doorbell unit once was - holes from where towel rail was moved While it would be cool to get the job done before the long weekend is through it can be done at a later date.
