A screw has come out of our ceiling fan/light fitting and what appears to be electrical wiring/components are now exposed. We have turned the fan/light off for safety. Looking for a electrician to inspect the fitting, safely secure it and ensure everything is safe and functioning correctly.

Hi, I need a local handyman to help remove a stuck glass diffuser on a ceiling fan and replace the blown globe. Details: Location: Southport, Gold Coast The issue: The cylindrical glass shade is completely seized (likely due to an aged rubber gasket). While trying to twist it off, the lower metal fitting has loosened and is currently hanging slightly loose from the fan motor. What's needed: Safely hold the metal ring, loosen/remove the stuck glass shade, and replace the globe. Globe type: I cannot see inside to confirm the exact bulb fitting (likely standard E27, B22, or small halogen/LED). Please let me know if you can bring common spare globes (I will cover the cost of the globe separately) or if you prefer to inspect first. Access: Standard ceiling height, indoor bedroom/living area.
