We are looking for someone experienced with gates/handyman work/carpentry to inspect and fix a small issue at our premises in Kalamunda. During rain, water comes underneath the main front gate and enters inside the premises. We would like someone to assess it and suggest a practical solution — possibly adding a trim, seal, rubber strip, threshold, slight adjustment, or any suitable arrangement to reduce/prevent water coming through underneath the gate. The job does not need a full replacement — just a neat and effective fix. Please bring your own tools and materials if possible, or let us know what may be required. Install a simple baby gate along the top step (brown) in picture. This is a mounted baby gate; You will need a drill with massonary bits, I have screws etc. Looks pretty simple, put it together, mount brackets on both sides and install. I recently had a pool gate inspection from the council. I need something (a post, or maybe a tiny bit of fencing - I am open to ideas) to cover the gap between the metal post and the fence. See photos. I also need the hinge on the gate tightened. There is a small grub screw in the hinge that can maybe be manipulated so the pool gate closes from a resting position. Centsys D5 EVO Electric gate needs restarting and setting. Has stopped working intermittently and at times won’t open or close (with remote). Currently on manual setting. Will need help with resetting the motor and getting it back up and running with the remote.
