Hi, We have a glass staircase, wooden railing and wooden steps with gaps. We need a gate installed at the top of our staircase that will prevent the cats from entering upstairs. Can you replace with a new remote which works?

I would like this small metal gate to be relocated to the bottom of the stairs. Or if that isn't possible, to have the gate where it is now, but mirrored/flipped so that it opens in the opposite direction. Actual gate width 98cm W / 68cm H For reference, the width of opening at top of stairs 102cm Width of opening on the ground 101cm (where we want the gate to relocate to) - Due date: Flexible

UPDATE: I was made an offer by a guy called “Jai C” on here, who said he was a fencer with 22 years experience. He then negotiated for me to pay cash (stupid of me, I know). Anyway when he finally turned up 24 hours late this is what he’s done (photos attached). My fence is ruined. Beware anyone hiring this man. I need an old gate removed and new one installed, including a new fence post (old fence post is removed already).
