Your Tasker first inspects your hedge's current state before trimming. It involves checking for any areas that need more maintenance, ensuring that no animals, including cats, possums, and bird nests, are left in your hedge. The preparation also includes and placing a groundsheet or tarpaulin beneath your hedge for easier catching of branches, stems, and other debris.
Your Tasker prepares the right tools and equipment for easy access such as hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, brooms, rubbish bags, and heavy-duty garden waste bins. Since trimming hedges pose a lot of risks, your Tasker also suits up with protective clothing. Doing so protects them from any cuts, scratches, bruises from flying branches, and getting any dust or debris into their eyes.
Hedge trimming
Your hedge trimming starts with your Tasker cutting away your hedge with a hedge cutter in controlled, sweeping motions. Post-trimming cleanup
Once you and your Tasker are satisfied with your trimmed hedge, it's time to clean the area from any remaining dirt and debris. The groundsheet or tarpaulin placed beneath your hedge can easily catch most hedge clippings. Also, any leftover branches or stems that have flown away throughout your property are collected and put in the proper waste bins.
Your Tasker also clears away any remaining items from your paths and walkways that can obstruct and cause potential accidents. Lastly, your Tasker checks your hedge's condition after trimming. To speed up growth, your Tasker can also add fertiliser or mulch at your request.
