Looking for an experienced gardener or someone with a horticulture/landscaping background to help improve and plant out our existing garden beds. I’d like someone knowledgeable who can advise on which plants to purchase, taking into account that each garden bed has different levels of sunlight/shade, soil conditions and growing conditions. I want to choose plants that will suit each area and thrive long term. Tasks will include: • Advice on suitable plants for each garden bed • Picking up plants from a local nursery • Planting • Preparing/improving soil where needed • Fertilising • Mulching • General tidy-up afterwards • Advice on ongoing plant care All garden beds are already established, so I’m not looking for major landscaping, construction or a complete garden redesign. I’m specifically looking for someone with good knowledge of plants, soil, sunlight requirements, fertilisers and garden care, rather than someone who mainly does mowing/basic maintenance. Budget is for completion of all garden beds, not an hourly or daily rate. Plants, soil, fertiliser and mulch will be purchased/paid for separately by us. Please make your offer based on the full scope of work. I’m happy to provide photos and further details beforehand so you can quote accurately, and I’m happy to discuss the final price before accepting an offer. Once agreed and booked, I’d like the accepted price to be honoured. Please include your gardening/horticulture experience and whether you have your own tools and equipment. I’m looking for someone experienced with garden planting/landscaping to plant the following plants in my garden: * 13 Heliconias – 300mm pots * 2 Giant Birds of Paradise – 400mm pots * 6 Birds of Paradise – 300mm pots * 6 smaller Heliconias – 300mm pots * Taro plants – 1 x 300mm pot and 2 x 200mm pots * 12 assorted plants – 200mm pots The owner will supply all plants, fertiliser, compost, mulch, and soil improver. The Airtasker will need to bring their own tools and equipment required to complete the planting work. The job will involve digging suitable holes, positioning the plants, planting them properly with the supplied soil improver/compost/fertiliser as appropriate, backfilling, mulching, and watering them in. Experience with tropical plants would be preferred, as I’d like the plants positioned and planted correctly for healthy growth.
