My daughter has a backyard that we are trying to improve for her (as a surprise). Garden area is not huge. Currently the yard slopes a little towards the fence line. We want to install timber beds using sleepers so that we can level the rest of the ground in order to install turf. Timber sleepers would also need to be placed against the fence line to prevent soil falling through into the next yard. Length of yard is 13.8m. The sleepers would go from fence line to fence line, so would also need sleepers on each end to protect the existing side fences. The photos attached are during and after work on an identical backyard in the complex that has done the exact thing we are trying to achieve. I have no idea of approximate price so have just put in a nominal amount to start the process of getting offers. Offer should include labour and supplies required to complete job (including all timber). If you are interested in also putting fill in the planter box, please also include that separately. The yard has tall weeds at the moment, and would need whipper-snipping to clear the space before starting the building of the boxes. If you can also do that, please mention that as well.
