I would like to have the planter box removed, I have started as per the photo, i think the best way to do it is dig it out first and then cut the bricks away. Plant an established Ficus Hilli Flash It is in a 150L bag(70x60cm) and 3.5m high Dig hole at least 1.5 times bigger check pH, add gypsum etc and plant tree. Also install root guard/barrier along one side of hole. It is being delivered to front of house so may need to transport via laneway to backyard.
