Remove a section of steel garden edging — Briar Hill, Melbourne I need an experienced handyman to remove approximately 260cm of fixed steel garden edging from my backyard to make way for a new cubby house installation. The edging is standard pressed steel, 1cm thick and 10cm deep (buried), so should be straightforward to cut and lever out. The job involves: • Cutting out a ~260cm section of steel garden edging using an angle grinder with metal cutting disc • Removing the buried portion of the edging (soil is Melbourne clay so may need a flat spade/lever) • Filing or capping the two remaining raw cut ends on either side of the gap (important — young children will be using the area) • Backfilling the void left by the removed section with topsoil I will supply • Raking level with the surrounding soil Please bring your own angle grinder, metal cutting disc, and appropriate safety gear. I will supply the topsoil for backfilling. The edging runs along the back fence line. Good access to the backyard. The job should take 1–2 hours for someone with the right tools and experience. I am in need of a Garden edge made of concrete and 200 x 100mm pavers for approximately 40 - 45m of new to be garden bed and pathway. Hello, im looking for some help to replace my garden bed edging. It's just 10m straight. No curves. I want to use corten steel garden edging as it has a nice rusted color.
