My elderly parents need a floor in one bedroom repaired as it’s sunk in a corner. The house is very old. They want a quick fix. They also want new vinyl flooring and there’s another bit that’s alittle loose in the hall way that will need a repair. They want it done as cheap as possible so not looking to pull all the wood floors out and replaced just afew repairs and new vinyl. We will supply the vinyl. The lounge room is 4x4 , bedroom 3x3, hallway 11 meters long, kitchen 3x3ish. The kitchen is tiled so just lay floor straight over We will provide flooring as my dad wants to pick it

I am going to install a roll of vinyl flooring in my garage. Currently is a concrete floor. Part of the garage was converted to a bathroom, so the remaining space is small and is not used as a garage, just as storage and to access second bathroom. My hope is just to provide a surface which is nicer to walk on, and to make it feel less like you are walking out of the house (into the garage) when you go to use that bathroom. Space is about 3.6m X 6m. On one side of the garage, there are brick piers, so the vinyl will need to be cut to go around them. All other sides are completely straight. Plan is to buy a 4m wide roll, so I just need someone to trim about 20 cm off it (and cut around the piers). I would like it to be stuck down just using double sided tape. Photo shows a bunch of stuff in the garage, it will be empty soon I am trying to make the place more presentable before selling it. It is probably preferable for the vinyl to just be stuck down with double sided tape, in case the new owner wants to pull it up to park a vehicle there.
