Finish Installing Timber Decking Tiles – Small Patio Looking for someone handy with a saw to help finish laying Syneco interlocking timber decking tiles on our small outdoor patio. We've already bought all the tiles and laid most of them ourselves, but need some help with the trickier cuts around the edges, corners and metal posts. The patio is roughly 8–10 m², with the tiles being laid directly over the existing concrete tiles. We're hoping to find someone who can: - Measure and cut the remaining tiles to fit. - Work around the angled edges, metal posts and sliding door. - Finish laying the tiles so everything lines up neatly. All materials are supplied, but you'll need to bring your own tools for measuring and cutting. Ideally looking to have this done on or before Friday, 23 October. We’re looking for an experienced floor sanding professional to sand and refinish approximately 10m² of existing timber flooring in our kitchen (the kitchen cabinets shown in the photos will be removed prior). We’re installing new kitchen cabinetry, so need to have the kitchen flooring completed first. We plan to have the remaining timber floors throughout the house sanded and refinished over the coming months. Scope of work: * Sand back the existing timber flooring in the kitchen. * Carry out minor repairs if required. * Fill nail holes and other small holes with suitable putty or wood filler. * Apply black gap filler to the gaps between the floorboards. * Apply a clear protective finish to the sanded timber. * Leave the floor smooth, clean and ready for the new kitchen cabinetry. Important considerations: We understand that the newly refinished kitchen floor will look different in colour to the existing floors throughout the rest of the house until we have the remaining areas completed. We’re happy with this and do not want the new flooring to match the existing, unfinished floors at this stage. We’re looking for someone experienced with older timber floorboards who can recommend a suitable clear finish and achieve a good-quality result. Repair damaged timber floorboards – Spotswood Description Looking for an experienced timber flooring specialist/carpenter to repair a small section of damaged timber flooring in our kitchen in Spotswood. Approximately two long floorboards have suffered water/moisture damage, with one section deteriorating and giving way. At this stage, we do not want to re-sand and polish the entire house. We’re looking for the best practical repair possible. Ideally we’d like to: * Remove and replace the damaged sections/boards. * Use matching original floorboards taken from a less noticeable area elsewhere in the house (e.g. inside a cupboard/pantry), if practical. * Replace the donor boards with something suitable. * Make the kitchen repair blend in as closely as reasonably possible with the existing floor. * Check the immediate area underneath for any obvious additional damage while the boards are removed. We understand a completely invisible repair may not be possible without sanding the wider floor — we’re just looking for someone experienced who can get the best possible result without refinishing the whole house. Looking for someone experienced to clean, prepare and stain our raised timber deck and fence posts around the deck (see pics). The deck is approximately 3 m × 4 m (around 12 m²), plus the timber posts. The timber is weathered, so please assess the preparation needed and include it in your offer. I will supply the stain; please bring your own tools and let me know if you recommend a particular product or number of coats. The deck sits above a shed and is accessed by ladder. Please make sure you can work safely at this height and bring any equipment needed. There is a children’s cubby and a slide nearby, so care will be needed to protect them and the surrounding area. Included: timber deck boards and posts. Excluded: shed cladding and metal balustrade. Please specify what preparation is included, whether sanding is needed, and how many coats you propose. No repairs or board replacement are included unless agreed separately.

We have a number of floorboards approx 10 that are termite damaged either a little along where they’ve eaten and a section in its entirety. We aren’t planning to Reno for a while so want them patched with timber epoxy in meantime . Will have to be cleaned out where they are hollow underneath, filled and matched as close to possible in colour to existing TAS Oak and sanded to same level as flooring. Slab underneath: termites no longer active has been 2 years .

I’m looking for a qualified and experienced flooring professional to remove the existing carpet/mat flooring from two medium-sized bedrooms and replace it with engineered timber flooring, similar to the first photo attached. We have had plumbers jack hammer the floor to replace a drain costing thousands of dollars. After the concrete was done now some of the floorboards have to be replaced. Need someone to supply and lay out new engineered floorboards. We don’t have the exact engineered timber floorboards any more.

Mountain bike tyre stained my timber floor. Tried all chemicals. Think it needs sanding etc. or an expert.

Our house will be completely empty in October and we are looking to re-sand the entire house. The only room that doesn’t have timber floor is the bathroom. All other rooms is timber. Looking to: 1. Indoor badminton centre in Laverton North. Our sprung timber floor has developed a raised bump/ridge along one wall — the boards are being squeezed and lifting. It’s been ground flat several times but returns within a few months, so we’re after a permanent fix rather than another shave.
