I DIYed the top floor of our townhouse with laminate floorboards but have been putting off the stairs for several years now 🫣. The carpet has been removed. The nosing needs to be cut flush with the risers and new nosing cut and installed along with the treads. I cut a pre-painted white board from Bunnings which happens to be the perfect width and depth and used that as the new riser for the top step when completing the floor, but I am also open to other options regarding the method. There are 15 steps in total, with 3 turning steps at the top. The flooring is Preference 8mm Oakleaf Laminate - Bedrock, from DIY Floorboards. I do still need to order the nosing and possibly a few more floorboards, so the job would likely only be for 2+ weeks from now. Happy to negotiate on price for the right specialist.

I have replaced some flooring with timber laminate, I’ve recently had the carpets that ajoin this replaced, however no transitions were installed. I have purchased transitions but due to where the carpet and laminate is need help with some small specific laminate cuts to fit some holes, plus cut back the carpet around the door frames and install the transitions.
